It's morning

The rooster with the sore throat is at it again this morning, but he's late. - again. It's 6:00 AM and the sun is already as high as the mountain outside my window. And a dog is barking... one of the many wild dogs who hang out in the neighborhood.

Most of us in the guesthouse get up early - really early - thanks to the rooster (and the dogs). Plus it's a good time to get in touch with people from home. The time difference makes 6:00 AM about 8:30 PM the previous evening in the States.

Seems to be some kind of disagreement between the sheep and the little girls: which way are we going? These are fat-rumped sheep somewhat different than the ones we're familiar with in the States. I was calling them goats. The ears sorta look like goat ears, don't they?

  1. Penny,
    Busy place...
I would have called that a goat, too.
